Welcome to the Brentwood Art Society
The Brentwood Art Society was formed by a group of enthusiasts in June 1958 in response to a complaint that there was a lack of culture in the town!

The Society has painting sessions on Monday and Thursdays at the Hardy Amies Art Centre at Brentwood School from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The tutored sessions, which are held on Monday evenings, offer opportunities to experience different approaches to subjects and to learn a variety of skills. On Thursday evenings, members work from a model, without a tutor. |
|
We organise painting holidays, weekend workshops and gallery trips and there are occasional talks and demonstrations from visiting artists. See Events or News Page for details. |
|
The Society holds an Annual Exhibition which takes place at Brentwood Library, usually around October/November.
